Rowan Milk Cotton

We have just received a delivery of the loveliest cotton mix yarn from Rowan.

It has 113m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 3.75mm with a tension of 22 stithes and 30 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 70% cotton and 30% milk protein.

It costs £4.45 a ball.

To accompany the yarn, there is a delightful book of baby/toddler patterns.

It costs £7.50 and, as you can see, there are loads of patterns to get stuck into!

Nan is just about to start knitting the gorgeous wee dress top second left. A photo will be posted when it is finished.

Stylecraft Kon-Tiki

Stylecraft Kon-Tiki has been a popular yarn in Stitching Time ever since it was introduced. It is lovely knitted up for childen and for adults.

It costs only £1.89 for a 50g ball with 101m. The recommended needle size is 4mm with a tension of 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm.

It has a 50% cotton/50% acrylic mix and is machine washable.

If you aren't faint-hearted, here is Nan wearing a top she knitted with this yarn.

The pattern was in the 'People's Friend' last month so it is not commercially available. However, if you ask nicely, she might let you 'borrow' it.

Lang Delta

As you can see, it is multi-coloured like the Mille Colori but Delta is a cotton mix.

It has 123m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 3.25mm - 4mm with a tension of 22 stitches and 33 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic-microfibre.

It is £2.60 a ball.

Nan has her eye on it but has been warned not to start anything else until she has finished some, yes, some of her UFOs. (At least, it's not all of them. lol)

Debbie Bliss Cotton Angora

We have four Debbie Bliss yarns reduced at the moment and here are two of them: Cotton Angora and Cotton Double Knitting. Being Debbie Bliss yarns you will know all about their excellent quality.

The Cotton Angora has 90m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 5mm with a tension of 18 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 80% cotton and 20% Angora.

It was previously £3.95 but now it is only £2.50 per ball. A full bag of 10 balls will cost you only £17.50!!!

In stock, we have 4 full bags and 4 balls of the pink and 4 balls of the turquoise.

The Cotton Double Knitting has 84m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 4mm with a tension of 20 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm.

It is 100% cotton.

It was previously £2.50 but now it is only £2.00 per ball. A full bag of 10 balls will cost you only £15.00!!!
