Stitching Groups Starting January

I'm not keeping up with this very well - must do better.

We have some stitching groups starting in January - the tables and chairs finally arrived, albeit about two months after they were ordered and not within the 5 - 8 working days.

So the groups are as follows-

Mondays 7 - 9pm Soap n Stitch
Enjoy the joint escapism of soaps amd stitching with other like-minded devotees. Ah ... the joy of no nagging and the understanding of others. Know what I mean?

Wednesdays 10am - noon Chat n Stitch
Forget the housework and the shopping - get stitching. Relax with a cuppa and a biscuit (or two). Catch up on the goss. Knitting, sewing or crochet - take your pick!

Wednesdays 7 - 9pm Chat n Stitch
Had a rotten day? Unwind with your stitching. Leave it all at the doorstep amd enjoy some 'me' time with other 'mes'. It won't seem so bad when you leave.

Thursdays 10am - noon Chat n Stitch
Forget the housework and the shopping - get stitching. Relax with a cuppa and a biscuit (or two). Catch up on the goss. Knitting, sewing or crochet - take your pick!

Thursdays 7 - 9pm Sock n Stitch
Enjoy a 'socksy' evening with other sockees. 2, 4, 5 or circular needle, top down, toe-up, self patterning or self-coloured, plain or patterned - the choice is yours.

Groups begin week commencing 7 January 2008. A 12 week block is £25 and includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
Numbers are limited to 12 per group so book early to avoid disappointment.

Going to take some photos tomorrow. Got some fabulous new yarn in - can't wait to get started on it. (What do you mean there won't be any left for selling?)

Catch ya later.

Tuesday 23 October 2007

It has been a long time since I updated the blog and since we have been advertising it all over the place I thought I'd better get the finger out!!!
So a quickie for now (so I can get over the shock of not remembering the log-in and password!!).
These are this month's specials:
Wendy Chic £3.00/50g - not bad for a yarn with rrp £4.25 and our usual selling price £3.95. Great for scarves, trims and special garments.
Patons Studio Mohair £3.00/50g. Lovely, lovely double knitting weight mohair. Doesn't get up yer nose like mohair usually does and loads of great patterns. Smashing colours too!
We also have 20% off all knitting/crochet kits. Buy one, make it up for yourself or give as a gift. Or .. buy one, and give as a gift and let them make it up. Kits are for: socks, scarves, stoles, hats, bags, corsages, cushions ... The kits are pretty well priced anyway, so buying a kit with 20% off is a pretty good bargain - and remember it's coming up to that time again.
Coming soon is a selection of Regia Kaffe Fassett sock wool, Lang Millefiori, new colours in Tonga Lame, new silk threads from DMC and I'd better not say any more or I will be in big trouble from someone who doesn't know I've ordered loads of stuff!
Will get some more foties taken and be back on to post tomorrow.
