Rowan Milk Cotton

We have just received a delivery of the loveliest cotton mix yarn from Rowan.



It has 113m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 3.75mm with a tension of 22 stithes and 30 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 70% cotton and 30% milk protein.

It costs £4.45 a ball.

To accompany the yarn, there is a delightful book of baby/toddler patterns.



It costs £7.50 and, as you can see, there are loads of patterns to get stuck into!

Nan is just about to start knitting the gorgeous wee dress top second left. A photo will be posted when it is finished.

Stylecraft Kon-Tiki

Stylecraft Kon-Tiki has been a popular yarn in Stitching Time ever since it was introduced. It is lovely knitted up for childen and for adults.

It costs only £1.89 for a 50g ball with 101m. The recommended needle size is 4mm with a tension of 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm.

It has a 50% cotton/50% acrylic mix and is machine washable.

If you aren't faint-hearted, here is Nan wearing a top she knitted with this yarn.



The pattern was in the 'People's Friend' last month so it is not commercially available. However, if you ask nicely, she might let you 'borrow' it.

June Special - Rowan Kidsik Haze

This is a yarn that needs no intoduction.



It has 210m in a 25g ball. The recommended needle size is 3.25mm - 5mm with a tension of 25 - 18 stitches and 34 - 23 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 70% super kid mohair and 30% silk.

It is normally £7.25 a ball but for the month of June it is only £6.25.

Popular for both garments and lacework, now is the time to stock up!

June Special - Stylecraft Apache

As mentioned in the June newsletter below, here are the colours we have in stock of the Stylecraft Apache.



It has 112m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 4mm with a tension of 20 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm.

It is 100% acrylic.

It is normally £2.35, but for the month of June it is only £1.50.

Noro Cash Iroha

Another Noro yarn we have for you is the delightful Cash Iroha. This is a Noro yarn which comes in solid colours.



It has 113m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 4.5mm - 5mm.

It is a mixture of 40% silk, 30% lambswool, 20% cashmere and 10% nylon.

The normal retail price is £7.95, but our price is £4.25.

Noro Silk Mountain

We have got some lovely Japanese Noro Silk Mountain yarn for you - and best of all, it is at a low affordable price!



It has 50m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 5.5mm-6mm.

It is a mixture of 65% wool, 25% silk nd 10% kid mohair.

It normally retails at £6.95, but our price is £4.25.

Debbie Bliss Rialto 4-Ply

In addition to our range of the wonderful Debbie Bliss Rialto(double knitting) we now have Rialto 4-ply.



It has 180m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 3.25mm with a tension of 28 stitches and 36 rows to 10cm.

It is 100% merino wool but is machine washable.

It costs £3.95 a ball.

Araucania

We have some new colours in Araucania Ranco - two Solid and one Multi (with one still to come).



They have 344m in 100g hanks. The recommmended needle size is 3.25mm with a tension of 24 stitches to 10cm.

They are 75% wool and 25% polyamide.

They cost £7.95 a hamk.
