New Sock Yarn in Stock

As mentioned in the May newsletter (below), here are the new sock yarns we have in stock.

First - Lang Jawoll Cotton



It has 190m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 2.5 - 3.5mm with a tension of 28 stitches and 38 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 49% new wool, 35% cotton and 16% nylon. It comes with a 5g spool of reinforcement yarn. And ... it is machine-washable!

There is a choice of stripey, fair-isle and random.

It costs £3.35 a ball.

Secondly - Lang Jawoll Color


It has 210m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 2.5 - 3.5mm with a tension of 30 stitches and 41 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 75% new wool, 18% nylon and 7% acrylic. It comes with a 5g spool of reinforcement yarn. And ... it is machine-washable!

There is a choice of stripey and fair-isle.

It costs £3.35 a ball.

Thirdly - Lang Super Soxx



It has 380m in a 100g ball. The recommended needle size is 2.5 - 3.5mm with a tension of 28 stitches and 38 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 49% new wool, 35% cotton and 16% nylon. And ... it is machine-washable!

It is a stipey one!

It costs £4.95 a ball.

May Special - Stylecraft Sirocco

As mentioned in the May newsletter (below), these are the colours we have in stock of the Stylecraft Sirocco.



It has 90m in a 50g ball. The recommended needle size is 4mm with a tension of 20 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm.

It is a mixture of 80% cotton and 20% linen.

It is normally £2.55 a ball but for the month of May it is only £1.95 a ball.
